Is activism the answer to abortion?
Can slogans ever change hearts and minds?
Given that more than 60 million lives have been lost to abortion in the US under Roe v Wade, what is the church now called to do in their communities?
Leading with love is a primary responsibility, according to Pastor Foreman, along with the duty to seek to understand the question beyond the political noise and rhetoric. He says, “What I’m doing now is not political. Let’s think critically…talk intelligently… and bathe it in a a loving spirit.”
Abortion may be a policy debate taking place in Washington DC, but abortion is happening in our neighborhoods. The local church is uniquely positioned to meet the challenge of preventing abortion as well as the restoration of those who have experienced it.
