Ryan Bomberger was conceived in rape. His adoptive parents raised him in a family of fifteen children, and unleashed love and purpose by their legacy.
Today he is an adoptive parent to two children; he and his wife Bethany also have two biological children.
We discuss the backlash against adoption. Bomberger exposes the organized ideological opposition to adoption. Tactics include demonizing adoption and distorting negative mental health outcomes to adoptees.
Bomberger also raises the alarm about Bethany Christian Services, a formerly pro-life organization, whose current policies would block multi-ethnic adoptions while promoting same-sex adoption. Further, any couple opposed to LGBTQ ideology could be banned from adopting at all.
His wit and wisdom is on full display in the surprising story of his encounters with the NAACP for his parody of their organization as the “National Association for the Abortion of Colored People.”
From his bio: Ryan Bomberger is the founder of the Radiance Foundation which is dedicated to advancing the truth that every life has purpose. He was an award-winning creative professional for more than a decade before becoming the Chief Creative Officer of The Radiance Foundation. He’s happily married to the love of his life, Bethany, and father to four awesome munchkins (two of whom are adopted). He’s an international public speaker, columnist, factivist, singer/songwriter and author of the fearless book Not Equal: Civil Rights Gone Wrong.
