Connie Coleman – Leading the leaders

Connie Coleman serves as Essentials Director of PassionLife, an international pro-life ministry to the church. She trains and equips pregnancy help organizations in foundational pro-life essential principles.

Ministry leaders need abortion healing

She notes how often abortion has impacted ministry leaders who chose it to protect the ministry plans or their reputation as Christian leaders. However, Connie says, “The guilt of abortion will ruin ministry faster than anything.” She also notes the many church leaders and pastors who need to pursue their own healing before being able to lead others–a third of churchgoing Christians have faced this issue. That number should represent a critical mass of people needing help and effective outreach.

Abortion and adoption full-circle

Connie also shares the tender story of her own experience of abortion as well as meeting her birthmother whose love fostered Connie’s life bringing the story full-circle.

One of her guiding principles is that, “Truth without love is brutality and love without truth is hypocrisy.”
